3 Traps to Avoid

Small business owners, are you looking to grow your company? Kevin Willett and I recently discussed the common mistakes many small businesses make as they scale. Here are three traps to avoid:

1. Focusing too much on the product or service instead of the customer.
2. Swinging for the fences. Home runs are great, but base hits or a combination of small changes are a surer way of building your business.
3. Chasing revenue instead of profits. As I mentioned in a recent post, Revenue is Vanity, Profits are Sanity, and Cash is King.

Avoid these traps and set your business up for success. Thanks to Kevin Willett for the insightful conversation and for recording it to share!
