Just One Thing: Every Company Should Strive to be World-class
I run workshops on becoming a world-class company. When I start by asking participants to name a world-class company, they usually answer “Google,” “Microsoft,” or some other large company, but never their own!
I contend that every company should strive to be world-class. Why? World-class companies grow faster, have higher employee retention levels, are more profitable, have higher valuations, and have access to cheaper money. Moreover, world-class operations give owners more time back.
Owners may think achieving world-class status is only for the largest and richest of organizations. To the contrary, businesses of any size that follow the Rockefeller Habits and focus on 6 Key Performance Indicators can achieve world-class growth and status.
As business owners, we always look to build a business to make others happy. Why not build a world-class one, starting with what you want so you can actually live the life you imagined when you started the business?
Let's aim higher together.
